The Role – Teacher of History
Strategy Education are recruiting on behalf of this high-achieving and well organised Secondary School to appoint a devoted and focused History Specialist who has the drive and ambition to consistently deliver ‘Outstanding’ lessons to KS3, KS4 students. Taking on the full classroom responsibilities of a Teacher within a well-resourced and highly organised department, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging, challenging and fully inclusive History lessons to the 11-16 age range.

Enjoyment is at the heart of our client school’s philosophy and the school truly endeavour to ensure that the learning experience at their school is positive, and encourages a lifelong enthusiasm for learning in all of their students. The successful Teacher will be a holder of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning Skills Status (QTLS). You will be a Teacher with a clear passion for your subject area and a hard-working, dedicated and ambitious nature.

The role will commence September 2018. Our client school are looking to appoint an Outstanding teacher with a track record of raising attainment levels and who can share in the school’s desire to secure an ‘Outstanding’ grading at their next Ofsted inspection.

The successful candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including: eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS disclosure and full references including one from your most recent employer.
