In Southend-On-Sea, Primary schools are in need of Supply Learning Support Assistants in EYFS and KS1 classrooms on an ad hoc basis.

For this particular role of a Supply EYFS/KS1 Learning Support Assistant:

-You will need to have some knowledge and understanding of Development Matters (2021) and the National Curriculum (2014)
-Have Grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths is desireable
-Have a Level 2 or 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development or relevant Teaching Assistant diploma, is desireable
-Experience of working or interacting with children within EYFS or KS1
-Have previous employed or voluntary work experience within a school or nursery setting is desirable
-Be supportive, nurturing, empathetic and friendly
-Have an Enhanced DBS on the DBS Update Service
-Provide 2 references from within the past 3 years
