The role will be non-class based and the SENCO will be responsible for leading and managing SEND and inclusion in the school including supporting planning and implementation of interventions, analysing data and liaising with outside agencies.

Our client is a small village school with a close knit community feel. The long standing Head Teacher has taken the school from strength to strength and is seeking to appoint a SENco who will become the face of the school.

The successful candidate will need:

• a thorough knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
• to ensure that support for SEND pupils enables them to reach their full potential
• to demonstrate excellent time-management, organisational and interpersonal skills
• To be passionate about delivering high quality inclusive teaching and learning.

We can offer:
• enthusiastic and happy children who are motivated to learn and very proud of their school
• a friendly and dedicated staff team who are committed to providing a rich and balanced curriculum
• a strong, supportive Governing Body and Leadership Team
• Excellent opportunities for professional development.

The successful candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including: eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS disclosure and full references including one from your most recent employer. Strategy Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Please contact Hannah Jones to arrange a visit to the school to meet the Head Teacher and his wonderful children.
