Strategy Education are working with a SEN School in Southend on Sea who are recruiting for a teaching assistant to start in September 2024.

The school is an innovative provider for 7-16-year-old pupils with Special Educational Needs. This is a special school, which provides a personalised education for up to 12 pupils with severe complexity of needs, primarily learning disabilities but also associated health or physical disabilities, and other behaviours which challenge.

Children come from a wide range of backgrounds, but all have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Many will also have other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties

The teaching assistant role is full time and will be contracted for a 3-month fixed term contract initially.

Salary is up to £21,400 pa.
