An “Outstanding” 2 form entry primary school in Colchester, Essex, are recruiting for September 2018.
The school is looking for 2 X ECTs (Early Career Teachers) who would like to work in either year 3 or year 5 whilst completing their ECT induction year.

Completing your induction year in an organised, supportive and creative environment is essential to a successful teaching career. This school have made a commitment to ensure that:
• You have a reduced teaching timetable allowing you to successfully complete tasks outlined in the induction programme
• You have a further reduction in teaching time to allow for the planning and preparation of your lessons
• You have an experienced ECT Mentor available at all times for support and guidance
• You receive regular progress checks to ensure you are on track to have a successful induction
2018 PGCE Students are encouraged to apply early. Initially, you will be invited to the school at a time that suits your current schedule; this initial meeting will be a brief tour of the school/ your future classroom followed by a brief chat about your PGCE year and current placements.

Early Career Teachers who have previously completed a PGCE but not started their induction year will be considered.
