We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and caring Level 2 Nursery Assistants to work in a range of nurseries and early years settings across Southend-on-Sea.

You will work alongside experienced nursery practitioners to provide high-quality care and support to young children, helping to create a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to develop their experience and career within the early years sector.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the care and supervision of children aged 0–5.
Assisting with engaging activities that support children’s learning and development.
Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development.
Helping to maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment.
Supporting children with mealtimes, personal care and daily routines.
Working effectively as part of a nursery team.
Building positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
Following safeguarding, health and safety and EYFS requirements.
