Strategy Education are working closely with a Secondary School in North London (Enfield)
They are looking to employ a Lead Teacher of Mathematics permanently.

Responsibilities:
To work closely with other Senior Leaders to take full responsibility for improving the quality of the teaching and learning, students’ progress over time and ensure that each individual student makes at least expected progress across all year groups. This post holder will be a key member of a team of nine Lead Teachers whose focus is to sustain and ensure a consistent approach to quality first teaching across the school.

Accountable for:
• Leading and managing the Mathematics Department
• Student progress and attainment
• Implementation of the Teaching and Learning Policy
• Analysis of data and progress within Mathematics and across all subjects
• Raising standards of literacy and numeracy across the curriculum
• Performance management and professional development of staff in line with school policy
• Budget and Resource management
• Health and Safety

To be successful you need to have a proven track record of creating and implementing successful strategies for raising achievement and sharing good practice, which will support the school in its next phase of development in fulfilling its ambition to achieve beyond national standards. You’ll be able to evidence the necessary leadership skills to play a pivotal role in whole school improvement and the ability to be successful as part of a team. We are looking for an inspirational leader with enthusiasm, vision and excellent interpersonal skills.
