Year 2 Teacher Job, Southend-On-Sea
I am currently working with a primary school in Southend-On-Sea, who are seeking an enthusiastic and driven teacher to join their team from September, on a permanent basis.

About the role:

You will be teaching a Year 2 class of 28 pupils of varying abilities, accompanied by a TA. There are a few children with SEN needs in the class, so it is essential that you are able to plan and implement a broad and creative curriculum that appeals to all learners, enabling everyone in the class to thrive. The class are keen learners, and there are no behaviour problems.

About the school:

You will be joining an over-subscribed 2 form entry school which achieved ‘Good’ with outstanding features in the most recent Ofsted Inspection. The school has a real community feel, with parents, senior leadership staff and teachers working collaboratively to ensure that the pupils are the best that they can be. The school offers a generous amount of PPA time and regular CPD opportunities to all teachers.

About you:

In order to apply for the role, it is important that you have QTS and are eligible to work in the UK. You must also be able to provide at least 2 valid teaching references. You should have prior experience teaching Key Stage 1, preferably in Year 2.

Refer a Friend Scheme: If you know of any teachers looking for a primary teaching role and refer them to Strategy Education, we’ll reward you with £50 worth of high street gift vouchers. For more information please contact Hannah Jones.

The successful candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including: eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS disclosure and full references including one from your most recent employer. Strategy Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment
