Home Tuition Teacher – Hackney

We are looking to appoint a qualified teacher to work in Hackney as a home tutor from March through to mid-June (12 weeks).
You will be expected to deliver high quality education for children and young people who are unable to attend school because of health needs including SEMH.
You will be expected to work across multi sites including students’ homes supporting students on a 1:1 basis.
Main Duties
• To provide a rounded education for children that are not in school and have been allocated home tuition support
• To report on the progress of the students to the school and parents/carers
• Have the ability to differentiate work according to each child’s individual needs
• To liaise closely with teachers, Senco’s and other school professionals

Person Specification
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience of delivering creative and innovative lessons
• Experience of working with families and carers of children with SEN
• Flexible with excellent communication skills
• Be able to teach the core subjects
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Good understanding of how to support children with medical needs of mental health issues

This role is for an immediate start and will be for 12 weeks salary will be between £190.00 – £210.00 per day.
