One of our Essex schools are looking for a Head of Physical Education to join them from after the Easter break; the position could be held until September for the right candidate. The school has excellent facilities for Physical Education and a strong existing team teaching in place.

Who is the right candidate?

The successful candidate will be ambitious, highly effective and experienced in their subject area and will be required to teach across the practical and theoretical side of the subject whilst managing the department. You will be required to have qualified teachers’ status and a minimum of 5 years teaching experience.

You will be dynamic, innovative, and hardworking with a desire to positively impact upon students’ learning and a firm commitment to high academic achievement. Above all you will provide all students an outstanding education.
This will be a permanent contract, you will be employed directly by the school and paid in line with Teachers Pay and Conditions.

The successful candidates will have a relevant undergraduate degree and will be subject to a variety of checks including, eligibility to work in the UK an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent teaching placement.
