Cover Supervisor expectations:
• Has recent and relevant experience in the UK showcasing your knowledge of the Secondary National Curriculum.
• Has brilliant classroom management skills.
• Has some school-based experience.

Your role as a Cover Supervisor will entail you supervising pupils whilst covering a variety of subjects throughout the school day. For this role, it is not required to have subject experience, you just need to be enthusiastic and willing. As a Cover supervisor you will need to be highly flexible as there isn’t a regular timetable to follow. You need to be adaptable. As a Cover Supervisor you are in control of your own diary, you choose your availability.
