This school in Maldon, Essex, is looking for an Academic Mentor to support their students ahead of a busy exam year, in a subject you are passionate about!

***Experience working with students advantageous but not essential.
***£95.00 – 110.00 per day

The sought Academic Mentor will be a bright graduate with a specialist degree in an academic subject based in the Sciences, Maths or English It will be highly advantageous for the Academic Mentor to have experience in supporting pupils academically or in more informal settings as it demonstrates your pre-existing commitments to starting a career in education!

The Academic Mentor role will primarily involve you providing support to students in their GCSE revision ahead of their exams at the end of the year. There will also be the opportunity to assist in lower years in your chosen subject as you build your teaching experience. When instructed by the teacher, you will take pupils out for one-to-one and group sessions to turn complex course material into tangible ideas.
Based in Maldon, Essex, this school is looking for an Academic Mentor to join their support staff and help ensure all students are reaching their academic ability!

The Headteacher will be particularly interested in meeting a graduate who is looking to increase their school experience before undertaking their Initial Teacher Training.
