Strategy Education are delighted to be working with an outstanding, oversubscribed secondary school in Essex who are looking to appoint an ECT to join their Social Science faculty from September 2021. As part of the growth of the school and in line with an increased update in this subject area, they are looking to appoint a passionate teacher of Psychology and or Sociology who can work with students throughout the key stages up to and including A Level.

Applications are encouraged from current trainees who have a good, subject related Bachelor’s degree and are currently following a course of teacher training leading to either QTS or QTLS. The successful candidates will be committed to delivering a high quality education for all and will value and encourage each and every students’ individual potential. The school is part or a small MAT which offers extensive support and opportunities for progression. There is an excellent induction programme in place for ECTs which will provide with support and guidance during the ECT year and beyond.

The appointment will be on a permanent basis from September 2021 and you will be paid in line with Teachers Pay and conditions with London fringe allowance; an earlier start date could be negotiated.

The successful candidate will be subject to a variety of checks including, eligibility to work in the UK an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent teaching placement.
