Strategy Education are delighted to be working with an outstanding academy trust who have schools in East London and Essex. They require an ECT of Geography to work in one of their London based academies

Are you an ECT of Geography who is looking for an outstanding school where your ECT Induction year will be fully supported? Are you keen to work within a trust where best practice is evident and where you can observe outstanding lessons in a variety of settings? Ability to teach across the wider Humanities curriculum could support your application but is not essential for application.

The Trust provides an excellent ECT induction programme and they pride themselves on investing in their teaching staff with opportunities for clear, fast paced career development. Starting salaries are negotiable but at minimum, Teachers are paid in line with standard pay and conditions and within the trust they can become lead practitioners within 3- 5 years and will be awarded appropriate increases in salary in line with TLR.

The successful candidate will either hold a Bachelor’s degree and will be coming towards the end of their teacher training or will have gained QTS from oversees. The Trust provides an extensive, proven ECT induction programme and there are opportunities for aggressive career progression within the trust. The appointment will be on a permanent basis from August 2019 and you will be paid in line with Teachers Pay and conditions; scale point may be negotiable.

The successful candidate will be subject to a variety of checks including, eligibility to work in the UK an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent teaching placement.
