1:1 Tutors required across Essex
Strategy Education are looking for 1:1 tutors to work on ongoing contracts to support children who are not in school for a variety of reasons including children with SEN needs, school refuser’s, excluded pupils and children in care across Essex.

The role
The tuition is flexible and in most cases part time, successful tutors ideally will be able to support students in the three core subjects – English, Maths and/or Science across all keys stages.
Most of the students are working below the National Average and Secondary aged students will be working at Foundation Level.

The ideal candidate
Will be able to motivate reluctant and struggling learners
Will be able to differentiate all lessons according to each child’s ability
You will need to be adaptable, a good communicator and have the ability to build creative and engaging lessons
Ideally you will hold QTS or QTLS and have experience working within the classroom
Previous experience of working with SEN pupils with challenging behaviour would be advantageous
