One to One Teachers required in Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Tower Hamlets and Enfield

The SEN team at Strategy are looking for qualified teachers who are looking for both full or part time work you will be working on a 1:1 basis with either Primary or Secondary pupils.
You will be supporting students who are not in mainstream schools for various reasons including illness, behaviour/exclusion, mental health including anxiety or pregnancy.
The primary activity is to provide an individualised education by ‘hooking into the students interests’ and building a curriculum around their interests.

Duties include:
Assessing the individual needs of the pupil and following their EHCP’s if applicable
Managing challenging behaviour in a positive and calm way
Have the ability to differentiate work according to each child’s individual needs and to make lessons fun and engaging
The ability to teach cross curricular if working with Secondary aged pupils.

Candidates must have:
The legal right to work in the UK
You must hold QTS or QTLS
Hold a Bachelor of Education, PGCE or UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
The successful candidate will have experience within the following gained within a SEN environment or a mainstream setting:
Outreach work
Autism Spectrum Condition – ASC
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder – ADHD
Social, Emotional and Mental Health – SEMH
