Three part time teachers required, 1:1 based in Histon Cambridgeshire.

The SEN team at Strategy are looking for three qualified primary teachers for the Histon area who are looking for part time 1:1 tutoring roles. These jobs are due to start min November.
Mornings will start between 9.00am – 9.30am and will be approximately 2.5 – 3 hours long.
Morning session rate of pay £75.00 – £82.00 per morning.
We are looking for three tutors/teachers with Primary or EYFS qualifications to work with three children who are all Autistic and have speech and language problems. They are all from the same family and will be taught in a local community centre.
We require two qualified teachers to work with twins who are Reception age, if you hold an EYFS qualification but do not hold QTS or QTLS we will consider you if you have had SEN experience.
The other child is in Year 3 and for this role you must hold QTS or QTLS for this role.
These roles are rewarding, and the primary activity is to provide an individualised education both academically and socially in the community in either a school setting, community centre or designated public building such as a Library.
You will be supporting students who are not in mainstream or currently not in a special school with Autism and Speech and Language difficulties.
Duties include:
Assessing the individual needs of the pupil and following their EHCP’s if applicable
Have the ability to differentiate work according to each child’s individual needs.

Candidates must have
The legal right to work in the UK.
You must hold QTS/QTLS or a recognised teaching qualification.
Hold a Bachelor of Education, PGCE or UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
Enhanced DBS Certificate, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
Two professional reference checks

The successful candidate will be empathetic, caring and compassionate and have some experience of working with SEN children with ASC, this experience could have been gained in either a special needs setting or in mainstream.
