Teaching Assistant | Suffolk

Strategy Education are helping an Academy in Newmarket, Suffolk in their search to appoint a Teaching Assistant. This will be a permanent, part time position and the starting date is as soon as possible.

**Grade 3 SP 4
**Permanent position

The Academy are looking for a flexible and motivated Teaching Assistant to join their friendly SEND Department. The Academy will offer career development as your expertise in SEND develop. The Teaching Assistant candidate would ideally have experience working with students in a classroom setting but it is not essential to have had experience working with SEND students.

Teaching Assistant Specification:
• General subject knowledge.
• Grade C or above in GCSE Maths, English, and Science.
• Ability to deal with groups of pupils and challenging behaviour.
• Be able to work in settings of small groups or one to one.
• Good ICT skills are desirable.

In return, the Academy will be able to offer the Teaching Assistant candidate with CPD. You will be welcomed into a friendly and supportive environment, working in a newly refurbished learning space that includes white boards and sound systems.
