DBS Information
Keeping your DBS up to date…
In June 2013 the DBS introduced the DBS online update service. This is something that agencies adhere to in order for all candidates to keep their DBS as up to date as possible.
The fee for a Enhanced Disclosure from Strategy Education is £58.00. As Strategy Education complies with the rules & regulations laid out by the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) which stipulate that DBS checks must be renewed every year, this then means that the information we have on our candidates remains fresh and current. Many supply teachers have to pay out every time they change agency which can be quite expensive.
Once you have paid for a new DBS you have 28 days to register your DBS on the online DBS update service and it will cost you just £13 each year to keep it up to date and accessible to you online.
The advantage of this for you is that you can keep this updated and any agency can use it.
